The summer after my senior year of high school, I worked at one of Progressive's IT help desks. as well as helping to bring Sun machines into a heavily IBM controlled shop.

  • Answered help desk tickets
  • Made a written ROI case that getting financial analysts more powerful personal computers would greatly improve their productivity.
  • Wrote a Lotus Notes application to move the help desk from voicemails and drop ins to a digital system with reporting.
  • Helped an internal development team get a trial of Sun workstations based on my experiences at Case Western Reserve University.
